As a Teaching Instructor in Early Childhood Education in the College of Education and Human Services, I teach Curriculum and Instruction 410, Curriculum and Instruction 411, Reading 423, and Curriculum and Instruction/EDUC 414. I received my undergraduate degree from WVU in the field of Elementary Education with a specialization in Early Childhood, and a Master’s Degree from WVU in Child Development. Prior to teaching at the university, I have taught third and fourth grade, as well as preschool. I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel to Italy to observe the preschools in both Pistoia and Reggio Emilia.
